South Florida is the “Cruising Capitol of the World”. Passenger are arriving in record numbers and new extra large ultra modern ships are being deployed to meet demand for new experiences. The amount provisions and supplies required to maintain these super ships requires a sophisticated logistics supply chain model. International passengers and ships require cruise lines to source product from around the world from deck & engine parts, to hotel & casino supplies and duty free shops on board. As products arrive in the US they must be moved from the airport, through US Customs and eventually to the ship. To avoid paying excessive duties and taxes, cruise line must use bonded warehouses and trucks. The seasonality of the industry also requires long-term storage and relocation of parts to other ports of call. Reaching these ships with urgent spare parts can feel like hitting a moving target.

Venture Logistics specializes in cruise and marine logistics and is poised to meet the needs of the industry. We operate bonded warehouses, have a network of bonded trucks and have a customs broker on staff that works around the clock. We also work with the cruise line's port agent to clear goods and waste coming off the ship and coordinate the movement of materials back to suppliers and other ships.
